Summer Causse fever
Summer in the Causse is a time of abundance! An abundance of activities, meetings, markets, products and encounters... With a focus on nature and relaxation, the summer holidays around the Lac du Causse are a great way for tourists to spend a few days at the water's edge, reconnecting with a rich and refreshing natural environment! Paddle, canoe, cycle, via ferrata, Causse guinguette, Brive Festival, Vézère Festival, local farmers' markets by night... discover a summer agenda that's 100% gaillard!
In autumn
The Causse in Autumn: you have to experience it at least once! Why should you? Because the colours of the woods that adorn the lake offer unique reflections in the water! Because at the market, gourds take their place alongside porcini mushrooms and chestnuts... Because the rugby season is underway: this is your chance to enjoy a memorable evening at the stadium, cheering and cheering behind the CABCL players! Because the Heritage Days will take you to one of the Most Beautiful Villages in France or another of Corrèze's historic gems... Or because Les Jardins de Colette organises unique Halloween days that dazzle young and old alike!
Bubbles and cotillions at the Causse!
In winter at Le Causse, the lake empties and nature reclaims its rights. There are superb walks around the lake and geocaching with the whole family to combine sport and fun! At the end of the year, gourmet fairs are held in Brive to buy exceptional dishes for festive meals. End-of-year events brighten up the heart of the Gaillarde town for young and old alike, while you wait patiently for Father Christmas to arrive in Corrèze!
Spring: Causse as ever!
The lake is full again in March, Spring is here, the birds are singing again and guess what? New colours can be seen on the shores of a lake that's been given a makeover. Hikes and picnics in the most beautiful spots are a must after a trip to the Brive or Objat markets. At the beginning of April, film buffs will be in for a treat with the Festival du Moyen Métrage, the only one of its kind in the whole of France! Still here? Don't wait any longer!
